The Academy library boasts as one of the oldest forest libraries in the sub-division. Its collections include rich and very old books, periodicals and reports of pre-independence era. Besides, this library has vast contemporary resource material on various fields of forestry, allied subjects and also non-forestry disciplines. These include books, bound volumes, journals, encyclopaedia, etc

The library subscribes to the journals like Indian Forester,. Needless to mention, regular purchase of latest books on varied subjects from forestry sector as well as on other allied subjects is a continuous phenomenon.
