In-Service Training

To strengthen the existing management process and disseminate new concepts through continued education, the Academy conducts In-service Courses in the form of General Refresher Courses, Training of Trainers (TOT), Workshops on Theme based & Contemporary Forest Management, Computer Applications, and Master of Trainers Training (MTT) for State Forest Service Officers in the ranks of DCF, ACF, FRO, Deputy FRO and Foresters to augment their managerial skills with administrative & technical acumen.

The Academy has conducted 247 in-service training courses, and a total of 3026 in-service officers have participated in those courses.

Details of the In-service Courses conducted:
  • Six nos. of In-service training courses (one week duration) in the form of Theme based Workshops, General Refresher Courses, and Training of Trainers for In-Service Forest Officers at the level of DCF, ACF, & Sr. FROs were conducted through Online Mode.
