Accommodation

The Academy has two hostels viz. North and South Hostels for the accommodation of the trainees. The North Hostel is a two-storied building having capacity of 30 rooms on the ground floor and 50 rooms on the first floor. The Ground floor has single-seated rooms with attached toilet where the lady officer Trainees are given preference.

The first-floor rooms are single-seated rooms with a common toilet. It is equipped with Television, Lounge, Mess and geysers, laundromat.

The South Hostel is also a two-storied building having 15 rooms on the Ground floor and 35 rooms on the first floor. The rooms on the Ground floor are double occupancy with attached toilets which are used to accommodate in-service SFS and senior Range Forest Officers. The first floor has 8 rooms with attached toilet recently renovated under JICA funding which is utilized for accommodating Guest Resource persons from outside.

The remaining rooms in first floor are single seated with common toilet where Officer Trainees are accommodated. It is compulsory for all the Officer Trainees (OTs) to stay in the hostel. OTs are not allowed to keep their families in the hostel.
